The Festival takes place in the South Cotswold town of Stroud There are amateur, open and student categories. Prizes include trophies and cash. Maximum length is 20 minutes (25 minutes for open category.) Most usual forms of film and video accepted. The festival is organised by a sub committee of the Stroud Video Makers
which meets fortnightly in Stroud. The chairman is Clive Blackmore and the
chief organising festival officer is Lee Prescott, himself the winner of
a number of international awards for his films.
