Two Recent Productions

A CHOIR FOR ALL SEASONS

In December 2007 St Albans Movie Makers produced a 57 minute video of A Christmas Celebration by The Quorum Choir of St Albans at The Chapel of All Saints in the Pastoral Centre, London Colney.

The choir, under its conductor Ewart Hopkins, has staged many memorable performances, and it was a privilege in 2007 to follow this up with My Choir, a 12 minute documentary which tells the inside story of Quorum. Ewart narrated this production, and as he is retiring at the end of 2008, the two films will help to keep alive the memory of a remarkable choir.

A COMMUNITY CELEBRATION

On the 5th May 1858 the first railway line entered St Albans. 150 years later, to the day, the short line from Watford held a celebration which included a parade, speeches unveiling a plaque and even a fun-fair at a village on the route.

St Albans Movie Makers filmed the event and has produced A Community Celebration, a 12 minute video for the Abbey Line Community Rail Partnership - a group of organisations which has very effectively promoted the line in recent years.
