The club's publicity officer claims to have been its youngest active member having joined at 3 years-old! Starting as an actress and later learning about editing, animation, projecting, filming and continuity she demonstrated what a good club can do. Once you are involved you can learn as much - or as little - as you like. There is nothing like participating in a good group to help you explore your talents. Eric Parkinson from the club recently got national tv coverage when a cousin sent him some old film found in the cellar of a house in London. It proved to be of the Queen aged eight and was screened during BBC television's The People's Queen programme. The club has four filming groups within it and they compete each October for the Frank Barnett Trophy. On Sunday 1st December they host the North West Region's festival and AGM - details. They meet on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month from September to May with summer excursions in June, July and August. The venue is Bebington Civic Centre, Wirral.
