ival for funny and satirical short films takes place in Berlin from 3rd to 5th February 2006.

It takes its name from the practical joker from history, Till Eulenspiegel, and also plays on the fact that in German those words can be split into three parts meaning "Owls", "Mirrors" and "Eggs". Be prepared for lots of bad puns.

If you want to attend this event, be warned that you do need a good command of German.

If you want to enter a film, however, the only requirement is that it be made within the last 3 years, is no more than 20 minutes long ... and is funny.

Most of the audience have a decent command of English, though obviously films which depend on actions more than words are likely to do well.

There is no entry fee and the closing date is 27th January. Forms and rules are available as pdfs but only in rather punny German.
