The dates and arrangements are similar each year.

The Cotswold festival is organised by Stroud Videomakers under the leadership of Lee Prescott. It has separate categories for Amateur, Open and Student entries. Slightly different lengths are allowed for each category. For amateur entries there is a maximum length of 16 minutes. Some amateurs choose to enter in the Open category because the maximum length there is 22 minutes.

They accept entries on DV, Mini DV, Digi 8 or, DVD-R formats in the PAL system. and MiniDV or DVD-R only, in the NTSC system.

Modest cash prizes for the top winners, diplomas and written comments from judges for all entrants.

Entgry fee 8 GBP for the Amateur category, 12 GBP for the Open category.
