Closing : 31 May 2010
Festival: 15-17 Oct 2010

The Guernsey Lily is the friendliest festival in the British Isles ... and it takes place on the Channel Island of Guernsey. It was established by film makers Peter and Richard Rouillard with their friend Joan Ozanne. It takes place over a weekend which traditionally starts on Friday evening with a Vin d'Honneur (reception with wine) and then many delegates share a coach to one of the island's fine restaurants for a dinner under the local "tennerfest" scheme where the meal costs not much over ten pounds. Screenings on Saturday and Sunday with the awards show on Saturday evening. After the festival on Sunday most remaining delegates have another "tennerfest" meal to make a super end for a fine weekend.

Entries up to 30 minutes. Videos should be on DV, Mini DV, VHS, S-VHS or DVD systems only. HD can be accepted on DV and MiniDV.

Fee 10GBP. Youth entries (under 21) 5GBP.
