  • 19 to 25 years old

There is no limit on subject matter.  Entries on PAL MiniDV (standard play) or DVD. Maximum length 25 minutes. There is also a one-minute movie contest,

Films should have been completed within the previous two years and ideally will be in German or English. They are keen on school projects. A preselection team sorts out the entries. The makers of those films chosen to take part are invited to take part at the expense of the organisers. They will stay in the Villach Youth Hostel. They must pay their own way to the Austrian border and thereafter second-class rail travel is available at the festival's expense.

The festival will only show films if their makers (authors) are present.

In addition to the usual prizes are special ones for work dealing with drug and/or alcohol abuse, family and environment.

There is no entry fee.
