This festival is still of a modest scale and has few entries as yet from overseas ... let's put that right!

The Newcastle Video Moviemakers is a club that exists to teach members about film techniques through the medium of making films. Each year they hold this National and International contest for amateur moviemakers to test their skills and get a professional adjudication of their entry.

Entry fee from overseas is $15 US Dollars. VHS, MiniDV, DVD and Blu-Ray formats only. They will only accept HD video on blu-ray disc. 15 minutes maximum.

The Club also has a competition also for all schools in the Hunter and Central Coast region of New South Wales.
