Arrangements and dates are similar each year.

In addition to being Norway's premier festival for non-commercial films, this also serves as a heat for the Eurofilm organisation. The best films of the festival will be forwarded to the Euro Filmforum finals.

Films should have been made since September 2006, no more than 25 minutes long, mini-DV cassettes in format DV, HDV or AVCHD (Super 8 and 16 mm films must be trasferred to video).

Classes:

  • Junior, born after October 1st, 1989
  • Senior, born October 1st, 1989 or earlier
  • Semi-professional Class
In each class there are two categories:
  • Category A: Documentary, reportage and family movies
  • Category B: Feature film/fiction film, animation, music video and experimental film

First prize is 10,000 Kroner which is a little over £1,000.

The entry fee is 35 € (NOK 280) for non-members. For members of EAK/Eurofilmer or one of their affiliated clubs, the fee is 20 € (NOK 160). Juniors pay a slightly lower fee.
