The Best Travel Video Contest hosted by Zoom and Go

Lights! Camera! Win a Vacation!

Get out your video cameras and start shooting because ZoomAndGo.com has teamed up with the British Colonial Hilton in the Bahamas to give away a Caribbean getaway for two for the best travel video submitted to Zoom And Go.

The person who submits the best video between March 24, 2006 and July 31, 2006 will receive airfare for two and a five-day / four-night stay at the British Colonial Hilton, located on downtown Nassau's only private beach and the site of Old Fort Nassau. For contest details, click here.

We’re looking for videos that Inspire and provide great Information!

We want videos with you on camera sharing information with other travelers about the good and the bad about a destination or a hotel. Or, if you're camera shy or think you have a face for radio, do a voice-over / narration. Don't just tell other travelers, show them with video what they should do, what they should see and where they should eat and shop (or what they shouldn't do, see, eat or shop!). Make your video a travel experience for other travelers!

You don't have to have videos of yourself Hang Gliding in the Himalayas or Swimming with Sharks in Swaziland to win. Travel is about experiences and there are great experiences in seemingly small things and slices of life. Your travel video that inspires or provides information can be as simple as the legend of the fairies in the Isle of Man.

And it’s not just about vacation videos. You can send in videos about your hometown. Some of our best videos have come from people sharing information about where they live. Nobody know a place better than someone who lives there, so send in a video about your favorite restaurant, a unique landmark or the best time of year to visit.

So, what are you waiting for? Get out there and start shooting and sharing your videos, Spielberg! As soon as you do, you'll be one step closer to blue ocean and white sand, faster than you can you say "Pina Colada".

For inspiration, take a look at some of the best videos we received from 2005. Once you've done that, check out some of the pictures of the British Colonial Hilton taken by some of our members. (Or you can visit the hotel's web site at www.hiltoncaribbean/nassau)
