THE BEST IAC CLUB WEBSITE AWARDS 2014

At the closing date, 31st January 2014, there were 31 entries.

We are especially encouraged that we now see high quality entries from clubs who entered in previous years and used our advice to improve their sites. And as more than three quarters of the clubs eligible to enter this competition have now done so, it seems that enthusiastic webmasters are raising the general quality of club websites.

Peter Kidman and Dave Watterson assessing them all and prepared multi-page reports on each entry. They drew up the shortlist. They were joined in making the final decision by Jan Watterson, the IAC Webmaster. The three top websites had all been shortlisted or winners before, but all had significantly revised their websites:

Bristol Film & Video Society  www.bristolvideo.org.uk
Channel 7 Productions  www.channel7.org.uk
Reading Film & Video Makers  www.readingfilmandvideomakers.org.uk

Hearty congratulations to all the webmasters whose sites made it to the shortlist. All their websites are well  worth a visit - see what ideas you might find to enhance your own website ...

The unanimous decision is that this year's champion is:

Channel 7 Productions
