NAMUR INTERNATIONAL NATURE FESTIVAL

Entry is free. They ask for internet transfers or USB key  entries in.mov or .mp4 format.(Ideally 1920x1080 pixels H264 codec)

For amateur films, min length 2.5 minutes and maximum length 5 minutes.

The main theme is «Nature» in the broad sense of the term. Priority should be given to originality, rhythm and the scenario. The subject may be covered in the form of a documentary, an interview, a clip, etc. When you participate in the competition, show your interest in the environment and the respect of animals and plant life.

Some film makers might be concerned that the festival produces DVDs with collections of winning movies on them for educational and publicity purposes. This is made  clear in the rules which are available on their website in French and English.

They say that a film director can be considered non-professional when incomes from their filming activities come to less than 50% of their total income.
