Over 90 people, a record for the Grand Final, turned up at the Village Hall in Farnborough, Kent on Sunday 30th January for the Southern showing of the North v South finalists from the 2010 competition. Apart from the 10 finalists, a further 8 films selected from Northern entries which didn't quite make it through, were also shown and were well received. Our judges for the Final were Rick Roberts and Peter Bluck, who run their own film companies on the South Coast. |
As usual, we ran our popular Audience Vote competition where the audience members are asked to match the judges decision. Although the judges were requested to put their top 5 films in order of merit we asked the audience to only match the top 3. This is because both judges independently came up with the same top 3.
The winner of the Audience Vote competition was Harold Trill who came nearest to the judges selection.
