Drama-documentary, documentary, fiction, experimental, educational films and cartoons are the categories, films which have not previously competed in the film festival, made by individuals or groups.
No film over 15 minutes. A film programme (three films at least) is not to be longer than 45 minutes.
Entries on DVD, PAL system or Mini DV. Each film on a separate tape or disc. Discs must be “self-starting” without a menu, additional buttons or icons. The film has to start in 5 – 10 seconds after the loading of the disk.
Foreign films must be accompanied by a short synopsis and translation in English or Russian. (We recommend sending your dialogue script.)
The jury may reject films which don’t follow the festival’s statute.
Winning films will by broadcast one single time on air and cable televisions, with the maker's agreement.
The organizers give information and assist authors and/or teams, who want to shoot a film about the region of Shumen.
