While we love the films and the excursions, UNICA is about people. Its purpose is to help men and women from every nationality find friends, to encourage peace between nations through our common love of film.

These are just some of the people who came into our viewfinders in 2010 ...

And the girls on the left?  Typical of the unexpected found at every UNICA. For a couple of days the high street of Einsiedeln was filled by a portable "beach" with spectator grandstands at either end. Teams of young men and women played heats for a Swiss National Volleyball Championship.
