UNICA 2015 - intro

  77th UNICA CONGRESS

The British Programme

Still from the UK introduction film. Before showing its chosen films each nation is allowed a short film introducing its programme. Some countries show their charms in tourist style. Others use flashy effects and titles. We go for humour.  Our intros are eagerly awaited and set the tone for what is to follow. It is no exaggeration to say that our medal-winning films over the years have all had a boost from the laughter and good will created by the intro film that is not in the competition.  In recent years the creator of our introductions has been Brian Dunckley and he has come up trumps again. No details yet ... we like to keep it a surprise for the UNICA audience. But we suspect it will raise the roof as usual.
