2. | BIRTH OF THE SIXTIES Raoul Rosenberg (USA) Described by New York Film Expo, 1989, as 'a send-up of the historic moment when the 60s were born. . .literally! An innocent 50s teenager has been implanted with the seed of the decade to come and the fetus quite clearly likes the Beatles and Jimi Hendrix, and prefers the company of blacks to white folks. And it seems to be wearing a little peace symbol'. Main performers: Nannette Tarpey as the very pregnant girlfriend, George Lindsay as her startled date, Barbara Babbin and Bill Derringer as her even more startled parents, and Rick Warren as the flabbergasted doctor. Made at the University of Southern California's School of Cinema-Television in 1989. Transfer from 16mm film. IAC Gold Seal 1990 |
