| 1. | Young Andrew (Jonathan Vincent) lives in remote Springerskuil in Western
Cape. He and his parents have been in the region for three years and although
Dorothy (Gae Barbour) wants to move back to a city, Vincent (David Wocker)
wants to make a go of their small business. One day on the way to school,
Andrew sees a bird trapped in an electric pylon wire. . . Adapted by the
director, Kurt Breitenmoser, from a story entitled 'Power' by Jack Cope.
