FRANZI

St. Cuthbert Films (Newcastle-on-Tyne)

The story is set in Hitler's Germany in the early 40s. Young brothers Josef (Jonathan Swales) and Franzi (Mark Friend) had been orphaned when their parents were killed in a car crash. They live on a farm with their uncle, Ernst Bruchner (David Peffer). Herr Zeitler (Ben Anderson) arrives to take away Franzi to the concentration camp at Hadamar, but Josef makes a desperate attempt to save his brother from this fate.
