MERMAID AND MINI-MERMAID 2005       (Library ref no. 46)

These competitions are held as part of the IAC AGM weekend each year as a light-hearted rivalry between regions. The Minis are all one-minute long.

Spring Park Cine & Video Society (SERIAC)
An elderly man comes out of a betting shop tearing up his (losing!) betting slip. He checks his Racing Post for another race but hasn't enough money for another bet, so he goes to a nearby cafe, outside which there is a parked car with a £50 note trapped under a rear wheel. He goes into the cafe, sits at a table by a window so that he can see when the driver comes back ...
