North Thames Region Film Festival 2017 Results

After running an online only film competition last year, this year we used a similar format but allowed entries on DVD, BluRay and sticks. The trend was towards online with 60% of the entry entered that way. We use a semi-automated workflow which makes online entry very simple.

Judging is always difficult. We have for the moment abandoned the more conventional methods and adopted online judging. This year we assembled a panel on top judges. Two came from Australia, one from France and one from the US. The other six were from the UK. Our panel consisted of five professionals and five top amateurs.

A total of 30 entries were received. Each entry received at least three critiques. The films were marked out of 100.
