CEMRIAC Autumn Festival - Sunday 16th November 2008. at The Priory Theatre, Rosemary Hill, Bridge Street, Kenilworth. Hosted by Nuneaton Moviemakers. Reception: 10.00am Inter-clubs Competition and individual 60-Second Competitions. Tickets will be available from September onwards.
CEMRIAC Audio-Visual Competition - Saturday, 29th November 2008. at The Community Centre, Lickhill Road, Stourport-on-Severn. (Usual venue) Hosted by Worcestershire A.V. Group. Reception: 1.30pm. Tickets available from September onwards.

CEMRIAC Movie Festival & A.G.M. - Sunday, 29th March 2009. at The Aston Court Hotel, Derby. - Opposite Derby Railway Station. Same venue as last year! Reception: 10.00am Further details will be posted as soon as possible.
British International Amateur Film Festival 2009 23rd - 27th April 2009. will be hosted by CEMRIAC at The Chesterfield Hotel, Chesterfield. See the best of the entries in the IAC International Film & Video Competition. Advance notice. Make a note of the date.

Magazine

Cemriac magazine is the regional magazine that covers amateur film making news and events around the region.

Encouragement for Younger Members

CEMRIAC is proud of its regional policy to assist and encourage younger film makers. The main elements are:

• Special grants available to assist productions which are too small to attract funding under the normal Lottery/Arts Council/Government schemes.
• For larger projects, information available on external funding schemes.
• IAC junior, youth and school members to be referred to within the region as Students.
• A trophy in the CEMRIAC regional film festival for the best student entry.
• Closer links with universities and other higher education establishments in the Midlands.
• An appraisal service for the work of younger members.
