Composer Requires Projects

My name is Andy Bastow and I am a semi-pro musician living in Dorset. I am currently looking for new film projects to score. I have a wealth of equipment and resources at my disposal and can produce very professional results for your production for low/no fee. I have just completed a score for Fraught Productions which will be released soon and am a gigging musician with over 30 years experience. Please don’t hesitate to get in contact if you think I can help you. andy@mimeoutloud.com     August 2010

BOB CHAMBERS

I am a composer with royalty free music online. I run a website http://www.bobsongsmusic.com offering music for movies, video, slideshows etc. I have 3 cds available at present which are available to buy and use "royalty free". The tracks are also available individually as mp3 downloads. I am also interested in getting involved with individual projects as a composer.

I look forward to hearing from you - Bob Chambers

MP3Unsigned.com - resource for original film music

I represent MP3Unsigned.com a - a music hosting site for unsigned musicians. We have a very active membership here producing a wide arrray of musical genres.
We have just started a Production Library:
www.mp3unsigned.com/ProdLibrary.asp

We are not actually selling anything ... most of our Artists would be happy for the experience and credits ... though that would be down to the individuals themselves ... However, the site, as a whole would love to be actively involved in some kind of co-operation with an organisation such as yourselves ... if your members would like to participate on our very active message boards ... If there were a lot of amateur film makers looking for music ... I'm sure we could organise a section where they could discuss their needs with the rest of our community.

As I say, we are really looking for a sympathetic partnership which would fulfill the needs of both. Our members would experience the needs and requirements of working with cinematographers and in turn they could experience working with composers and musicians.

We look forward to hearing from you.

JON DICKINSON - Film / Documentary Music Composer

I'm an amateur composer and producer of incidental music, cues, and other pieces, using electronic and acoustic instruments, and ambient recordings.

I'm looking to work on projects with amateur film makers, to provide finished music for incorporation into the final work. I'm happy to discuss requirements, but generally I prefer to work remotely, using my home studio. If you'd like to get in touch, email me on dickinsonjon@hotmail.com - 24Nov05

SERGE PATRICK-HESELTON - Composer

I would be very interested in writing soundtracks and soundscapes for film or any type of media. I have my own studio at home and I have facility to create all types of soundbytes, songs, soundtracks and effects. I also play the guitar, keyboards, bass and can progam a variety of Music and Digital Audio software. I would like to try my hand at doing some scores films etc.

VENUES

Finding UK venues for our national events has been getting harder.  Since many of you attend events run by other organisations, perhaps you can pass on details of any suitable places?

The essential requirements are:

  • reasonably accessible from all parts of the country (decent road/rail connections)
  • about 80 - 100 bedrooms
  • ceilings high enough to allow screens to be raised so that everyone can see
  • 4 or 5 rooms suitable for mini cinemas seating about 40 people each
  • 1 room large enough to stage the main awards shows (250 people), festival dinner etc.
  • a catering facility that allows delegates to be served promptly.

Please email details of any possible venue to the IAC Office.

Free download of Demo CD's at 4shared.com:

In the 4shared window click on the name of the file you wish to download. A new window should open. To start the download simply scroll down and push the button "Download" at the bottom of the page. The Download speed should be quite fast.
Please note:

  • All music recordings are protected by international copyright laws.
  • The downloads are intended for evaluation only.
  • Using them requires the correct license to be obtained.

Ask me if you're interested in a (non-exclusive) license at a low price. Of course, I could always do some changes to the compositions to make them suitable for your film. Self-evident you can also have a complete new composition which is adapted to your actual project.
