A wedding anniversary is not always the happy event it ought to be, particularly for Mary Williams (Shirley Pearce) when she finds proof that her husband, David (Roger Pearce), is having an affair. Unbeknown to her, however, against the dramatic backdrop of Guernsey's clifftops, David is desperately trying to rid himself of Julie (Joelle Podger) who will not accept that their relationship is over.
