SHORT MOVIES SELECTION : IAC 1994
This video was compiled especially for the UNICA Festival of 19-28 August,
1994, held in Hradec Kralove. These short films and videos were all made
by British movie-makers and entered in the 1994 IAC International Film and
Video Competition and first presented at the Movie 94 Festival in April,
1994, at Keele University, Staffordshire.

ROONEY THE RHINO
Alan Cleave, FACI (London)
Introducing Rooney, the all-singing, all-dancing rhinoceros, with his most
extraordinary music-hall act. Music written and sung by the producer, accompanied
at the piano by his son, Martin.

THE SANDCASTLE

Based on a true story about a young boy, David (Kirk Owen), who, spurned
by his bickering parents (James and Sarah Daly), discovers, on a deserted,
windswept beach, an old poster for the previous season's sandcastle competition.
