Full of wonderful images - as one might expect from the maker of visual feasts
such as Caribbean Safari (see lib. no: V 66 item 9) and There's
a Place (see lib. nos: FT/V 112 item 1 and V 120/121 item 3) - adding
a touch of class to what might otherwise have been a routine story about
a small-time hustler who has a deep-sea encounter.

A compelling, if somewhat harrowing, account of the obsessive behaviour of
Matthew (Bram Williams), and revealing, via his confidant (Kevin Gower),
his mixed-up feelings and fantasies about God, religion, crucifixion and
guilt, wherein his Mother (Lorraine Hilton) also appears as a Harlot. This
is a dramatised case study from Dr. Judith Rappaport's book The Boy Who Couldn't
Stop Washing, examining the condition known as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
