THE LIFT
Chris Armstrong (Richmond)

THE EXTINGUISHER!

At some time in the future, when Britain is a totally 'non-smoking' area,

ROOFTOP
Omid Nooshin (Surrey)
'Life is a game', says the commentator at the start of this film. And although
the story centres around a group of youngsters, there's a lot more to it
than that! This is a really tense thriller, where all the elements seem to
'gel' perfectly - the acting, camerawork, lighting, editing, sound, and music
(specially composed by David Perkins and Omid Nooshin) - everything, in fact!
The director also co-wrote and co-produced. How gratifying to learn that
the British Council has taken up this film for world-wide distribution!
Widescreen format.
Transfer from 16mm film.

FLIGHT OF FANCY
Alan Atkinson (Rugby)
What might happen if certain non-professionals started trying genetic engineering
for themselves! The mind boggles! Made in the style of a television documentary,
with a presenter (Alan Atkinson) talking to camera and a local farmer, Walter
Ruddles, played by the not entirely inappropriately-named Gordon Bullock.
