THE OLYMPIC MUSEUM
Richard Lewendon (Glos)
This is a fascinating documentary about the modern Olympic movement since
1896 and its creator, Pierre de Coubertin, and the museum which has been
built in Lausanne to house its archives. There is also footage of as much
material as has been traced, both on film and on video, all of which is available
to students, researchers, etc. The excellent commentary is by Alan Simpson.

NARDO
Douglas Boswell (Belgium)
A hamster (Nardo) is rescued from a fire by one of the firemen who then gives
it (in a wooden cage) to a young boy at the fire-station. It's not long before
the hamster gets out ... Highly imaginative camera angles combined with excellent
editing enhance this movie enormously. Widescreen format.
