We received another compilation videotape from last year's UNICA, which I'm delighted to bring to your attention here. There is a large proportion of animation this time, but it is of many different styles, so you shouldn't be too bored!

1. WORKSHOP
Dominik Ociepka (Poland)
This animation is what the title suggests - a 'tryout' of a variety of styles as a frustrated cameraman tries to start making a movie.

A charming story about two ants who go out one morning without an umbrella - and of course it rains!

5. RADAR VIGIL
Marcelo Montes (Argentina)
Two groups drive in their separate cars to a lonely spot on a country road. They get out and beat up one of the young men ... The whole movie (which is very bleak) is shot from a single camera on a high viewpoint. There is also 'interference'.
