3. | SOMEWHERE UP IN THE MOUNTAINS Anita Gorgieska (Macedonia) We learn about a Macedonian village of the title where there are virtually no young women left and the men therefore have to do all the chores, cooking and laundry for themselves. There are no asphalt roads so no one visits; but despite their hardships and their loneliness, they appear to remain philosophical about things.
