Still from 'Breendonk'.
Breendonk is a Belgian fortress in Willebroek, twenty kilometers south of Antwerp . During the Second World War it was used by the Nazi 's as a working and transit camp. It is the only camp in Western Europe that remained intact.
This camp is an important national memorial for Belgium. The film is an intriguing docudrama by popular IAC award winner Willy Van der Linden.
