Sutton Coldfield Movie Makers host a Feel Good Film Festival

Are we too hung up on winning gongs?
How do you feel when your first attempt at film making is met by embarrassed silence?
Do you feel like giving up when a film you have slaved over is rewarded by cutting comments from a thoughtless judge?
Would you like to share your film with an audience without taking part in the race for awards?

Sutton Coldfield Movie Makers thought that plenty of people probably felt that way. And so they decided to experiment with a new type of film festival. Their 'Feel Good Film Fest' was an invitation to film makers to have their films shown in a comfortable cinema to an audience of friendly faces. No competition. No judges. No awards. The only requirement was that all the films should have a positive vibe. And the film makers present at the Festival were invited to say something about their films.

The result? Take a look at the photos and comments here on the Sutton Coldfield MM website.
