TRAVEL FROM THE U.K.

By Road

It is feasible to drive to Fieberbrunn. From Manchester it is about 960 miles and could be driven in about 16½ hours. But we recommend that you take an overnight break!

By Rail

For rail advice we recommend:  www.seat61.com - for general advice. A trip of around 23½ hours could be organised.

The following flights and prices were researched at the end of February 2013, please regard them only as a guide and make your own investigations. Flight times and prices can both change. Try websites such as www.expedia.co.uk and www.travelsupermarket.com

Airport Transfers

From Fieberbrunn: Salzburg Airport is about 67 Km, Innsbruck Airport is about 113 Km and Munich Airport is about 180 Km.

You can use public transport but such journeys involve several changes which can be difficult with luggage. We recommend using a shared mini-bus. This may be arranged privately but Fieberbrunn Tourist Board offers a special deal:

All guests coming by airplane can use the special UNICA-airport-shuttle from Munich, Innsbruck or Salzburg. It doesn’t matter, if they come alone or in a group, and this offer does not depend on a special time or day. The maximum waiting time at the airport will be about 90 minutes. The price includes the return journey.
  • From Munich Franz-Josef Strauß € 90 (about £78)
  • From Salzburg W.A.Mozart € 75 (about £65
  • From Innsbruck € 75 (about £65)
You can book your bus - here.
