THE GUERNSEY LILY 2009 - TAPES ONE and TWO (2 miniDVs)       (Library ref no. 089)

The Guernsey Lily Festival was for many years one of Britain's most important international amateur film festivals. At its heart were Richard and Peter Rouillard with their wives Afifa and Mary. The festival enjoyed the strong support of Joan Ozanne a key player in the  island's arts scene. Its top prizes were called Guernsey Lilies.
The collection features captions before each film giving its title and the award received.

This is a delightful, gentle drama with moments of comedy and pathos. Sjeng finds a bottle of wine in his cellar. It is too good to waste so he decides to wait for a very special moment and a very special person to share it with.
