A selection of the movies made in 1993 by this Essex Society's members, compiled by Graham Gardener, Geraldine Warren and Roy Presswell. The programme is presented by John Eaton. An interval may be taken between items 7 and 8, if desired.
1. | UNDER COVER Terry Mendoza Roger Cork, a television investigative journalist, brilliantly played by Dave Aldous, takes his film crew into the back streets of Southend to uncover the truth about Mr Smith, an unqualified surgeon operating as a transcapitation consultant, bringing misery and ruin to the lives of his patients. Also featuring members of Westcliff's Operatic & Dramatic Society. 12. | AGAIN AND AGAIN Graham Gardener A fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the making of Time & Time Again (see above). Terry Mendoza, Peter Davison and many of the technical and artistic team contribute with anecdotes that tell the whole story of how this complicated costume drama was made.
